Tribes of Tragedy

“I’m a grief creature,” cried the poet,

And it echoed in the bone

Hectic tribes built on tragedy

Always crowded, still alone

Battered by responsibility

Can never do enough

Mustn’t reveal a weakness

Haven’t got one, man, I’m tough
